Before you come to visit us at REM Eiland, you might have some questions for instance about our opening hours or about making online reservations. At this page you will hopefully find the answers to your questions. If your question is not answered here, no need to worry, you can always contact us by phone or via firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are open every day of the week from 12.00h onwards.
What are the opening hours of the kitchen?
From 12.00h until 16.00h the kitchen is open for lunch. Throughout the entire day you can order bites and snacks from our snacks menu. Our kitchen is open for dinner from 17.30h until 22.00h.
Is there a lift to get to the restaurant?
Yes, you can take the lift to get to the entrance at Deck 2. For our rooftop terrace you can take the lift to Deck 3 and take the stairs from there. Fancy a climb to enjoy the amazing view even more? Then we definitely advise you to take the stairs.
Is REM Eiland accessible to wheelchairs?
Yes it is. You can take the lift to Deck 2 for the bar area. Or go directly to Deck 3 for the restaurant floor, where we can open the door on the 3rd Deck for you.
Are there parking facilities in the surroundings?
There is plenty of parking space in front of the restaurant. Please keep in mind that it is paid parking from 09.00h until 00.00h. The parking tariff is €6 per hour. For parking apps you can use the code 18409.
Can I reach REM Eiland by public transport?
GVB bus 48 from Central Station with final destination “Houthavens” stops at Koivistokade (next to Theater Amsterdam), from there it is a 7 minute walk to the restaurant.
Is it also possible to make a group reservation at REM Eiland?
We welcome all sorts of groups at REM Eiland. Reservations of above 10 persons we consider a group reservation. In that case we would like to make an adjusted offer to maintain good quality and service. You can make a reservation request for your group through email. Please contact us at email@example.com.
Absolutely! You can make an online reservation using your computer, tablet or smartphone. Simply go to the reservations section of our website. Please make sure to use a valid email address since you will receive a confirmation of your reservation via email.
Is it suggested to make a reservation in advance?
To make sure we have a table available for you it is suggested to make a reservation. Either call us at +31 (0)20 688 55 01 or make your reservation through our website. Would you like to come with a group of above 10 people? In that case we kindly ask you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yes, parts/areas of the restaurant can be rented exclusively for special occasions and events. There are possibilities for both festive occasions and for business purposes. In certain cases the entire island can be rented exclusively. For more information please contact us at email@example.com.
Is it possible to rent a boat at REM Eiland?
Yes, from our own jetty you can board a fully catered boat trip for up to 30 people. Book a trip on the IJ towards the Amsterdam canals while enjoying a snack and a drink. Bad weather? Then we arrange a closed boat. For more information contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
